The camp has 8 large cottage tents – all furnished with large cots and comfortable mattresses, 4 large windows and an en suite bathroom. There is a large gazebo, where you can join in for the nightly camp fire and a barbequed dinner on order - one would say an ideal meeting ground for adventurers to spin yarns at the end of a hectic day spent outdoors! The camp overlooks a shola forest and in the distance the Anaerangal Lake set in the backdrop of the Sahyadris - a welcome sight for sore eyes!! The sunrise over the Papathy Shola (Butterfly Forest) is nothing short of spectacular and is only rivaled by the colours of the sunset over the Anaerangal Lake. Indeed this place is a paradise for those seeking refuge from the hustle & bustle of city life! The food cooked at the camp’s own kitchen provides scrumptious local delicacies served at the Gazebo. - The treks to the lakeside and to the Phantom's head are rewarding. The high point will always be the sunset trek to ‘Phantom’s Head’ peak to see the spectacular sunsets over the Sahyadri Mountains!
- There are fabulous cycling tracks around the Anaerangal Lake and through the tough mountain biking trails - an adventurer's delight!
- A walk around the local plantations of cardamom, pepper and other spices gives a close up view of the life in the spice gardens of these hills, aptly called the 'Cardamom Hills'.
- One can also hire a local jeep for an adventurous trip to the highest tea estate in the world - Kolukumalai - and visit the local tea factory there.
