The Nature Zone Resort is the ideal spot to get acquainted with nature in its serene beauty. Our hospitable naturalists and staff, ever willing to cater to your needs will help you discover the subtle facets of nature - in its own mysterious ways. You get a chance-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a wild elephant, leopard, wild dog, barking deer, mouse deer, Nilgiri langur (a primate), bonnet macaque, squirrels, gaur (Indian bison), wild boar and sloth bear and the Nilgiri tahrs. Birds like Nilgiri Wood Pigeon, Nilgiri Pipit, Grey headed Bulbul, Black & Orange Flycatcher, Broad tailed Grass bird, Crimson back! ed Sunbird, White bellied Short wing, White bellied ! Treepie & the Wyanad Laughing Thrush etc add to the attraction of Nature Zone.
Accommodation
As part of the commitment to the nature, Nature Zone doesn't have any solid constructions. There are 12 African Safari Luxury Tents totally merged with the nature's landscape and 5 wood/ bamboo houses mounted scientifically on the tree tops. (we haven't cut even a single branch of the tree for mounting these houses.You will notice all these dwelling places only if someone points them out to you! Luxury at its best form is being built into the interiors of these tents and tree houses, without compromising on our eco-drive. Superior quality coir flooring, Bamboo & Paper light fittings, eco-friendly toiletries, etc are just some of the eco-friendly initiatives you will experience in your room.
While we are totally committed to the nature, we have not compromised on any of your comforts. Each cottage has Well-appointed rooms with modern bath rooms and large varandahs, and surrounded by aromatic plants like Lavender and Rosemary
